The PRESSPOWER 3 features two independently gain-controlled Mic/Line inputs and 16 individually selectable Mic/Line level transformer-isolated outputs. It also includes a 20-segment LED level meter, internal test signal generator, built-in headphone amplifier with volume control, high-pass filters, and phantom power - all accessible from the front panel.

The high-quality input stage delivers clear audio even in high electromagnetic interference environments.

The PRESSPOWER 3 operates on 115/230 V AC 50/60 Hz power, and can also be powered by four 9V batteries or an external DC power supply (12-36 V DC) connected to the rear panel. This allows operation from car batteries, cigarette lighter sockets, camera batteries, etc. When main power fails or batteries deplete, the unit automatically switches to the strongest available backup power source.

Additional active Mic/Line outputs can be achieved through the 16-channel PRESS2XP expansion module, providing 32 active outputs. Extra Mic outputs can be added by connecting passive PB series expansion boxes to the POWERPRESS 3's line-level outputs.

The PRESSPOWER 3 can be installed in a standard rack case without shock-mounting, occupying 4U of space. Shock-mount racks are available as optional accessories.
